Get involved with the Oshkosh Community Playground Project!
Volunteers are needed to serve on a variety of different committees.
Listed below is a brief description of each committee and a contact person.

Childcare Committee:

Coordinates and supervises childcare and arranges activities for children during construction.

Co-Chairs: Tammy Dannhoff (235-3102) and Kim Horejs (235-6443)

Children's Committee:

Serves as the liaison between the steering committee and all children in the schools

regarding design, special needs, special events, fundraising, volunteers, etc.

Co-Chairs: Jami Tahlier (424-0411) and Terri Koss (424-0315)

Design & Special Needs Committee:

All project needs beyond the basic playgound: combines adults and youths.

Chair: Nancy Backus (426-3879)

Donated Materials Committee:

To obtain all non-purchased construction materials and supplies.

Chair: Kurt Koeppler (426-1973)

Food Committee:

To obtain food and organize meals for workers during construction.

Co-Chairs: Barb Corcoran (235-3319) and Pam Laatsch (235-9010)

Fundraising Committee:

Major group and company solicitations, plus all small additional fundraising.

Chair: Keith Pollnow (236-6610)

Public Relations Committee:

Media contacts, public education, involvement and awareness.

Chair: Jon Urben (236-5269)

Purchased Materials Committee:

Obtain all non-donated items required.

Co-Chairs: Tom Kimberly (235-0990) and John Hazelberg (235-3351)

Tools Committee:

Obtains, organizes and controls all tools needed during the construction process.

Co-Chairs: Scott McMyler (426-4774) and Todd Kaufmann (235-3351)

Volunteers Committee:

Coordinates, organizes and schedules all construction stage volunteers.

Co-Chairs: Millie Paske (233-3173), Bob Small (236-3384)

and Lynne Webster (424-7701 ext.15).
